Moved into an apartment with what looked like years of dirt, dust, and mold caked on every surface, had to clean it up myself. Property manager is friendly but often takes a long period of time to make repairs.
Altogether a pretty bad experience but better than a lot of others in Binghamton.
Also a former renter of his. He's a friend of the previous owner, Dan Gorman. Chen is a nice guy, and I found him to be quite responsive. But the apartments are just more student housing-level stuff that's brought this city into further mediocrity. The electrical system is ancient (think knob-and-tube wiring) and a lot of the amenities are also very old. Be careful running AC, as the wiring really isn't built to handle it. Windows are also very, very old (plate glass, rope and pulley mechanism).I wouldn't rent these places if your income allows for better, to be totally honest.
I spent the better part of the year here depressed and I now hate this city, and frankly the Triple Cities region in general, and am leaving. That's not really Winson's fault at all, but this place was the nail in the coffin.
