I lived at 226 Court St for nearly 3 years, in which Mike Kane was lax with rent being paid on time but also did absolutely nothing to care for the property. I complained multiple times of leaks in the roof, which were dripping into the closets in both bedrooms, and was told the roof had been repaired. in July 2021, the ceiling in 3 of the rooms of my apartment collapsed into my house. All of my belongings were covered in moldy and damaged drywall, pieces of latex paint that had been stretched and bubbled out from the water, and rotted wooden beams. I had to move out immediately, in the middle of the pandemic and with a child. I was offered no compensation, never received my security deposit back, and had some of my power tools stolen from my (locked) apartment while I was displaced and moving things into storage.
